Vice President Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah, SC, JA (Rtd), will grace the 2026 Lakeshore Business Leadership Summit scheduled to take place from 22 to 24 April 2026 at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi.
The high-level summit will bring together leaders from government, business, and the financial sector under the theme “Leading with Purpose: Harnessing the Power of Transparency and Accountability.”
Organisers say the forum is designed to promote dialogue on governance, ethics, leadership, and economic transformation, while strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors.
CEO of General Electric in Southern Africa Nyimpini Mabunda, who is also the chairman of US-South Africa Business at US Chamber of Commerce is expected to headline the event as Keynote Speaker, while Oscar Kissanga, a seasoned business leader and turnaround strategist, will deliver a prelude address.
Other speakers lined up include Agnes Sentala, Managing Director of Old Mutual Malawi Plc; Tavona Bizga, an investment banker and financial analyst; and Jimmy Lipunga, Director of Pension Compliance and Support at the Reserve Bank of Malawi.
The three-day summit will also feature sectoral policy discussions, high-level networking sessions, and engagements with government officials and industry leaders aimed at promoting accountability and sustainable economic growth.
