Legal practitioner Alexious Kamangira, says Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamvekha was involved in approving and overseeing financial disbursements related to the Amaryllis Hotel Gate, a process that has raised questions about the management of public funds.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Kamangira raised concerns over Mbeta’s alleged links to the controversial Amaryllis Hotel matter, which has drawn public attention over alleged financial and contractual irregularities.
Counsel Kamangira argued that any alleged association with the matter raises concerns, particularly given the Attorney General’s responsibility to ensure the lawful management and protection of state resources.
