Apostle Clifford Kawinga Brings Spiritual and Humanitarian Mission to Likoma

Apostle Clifford Kawinga of Salvation for All Ministries International has arrived in Likoma for a two-fold mission aimed at feeding both the body and the soul of the people in the district. His presence has drawn excitement and gratitude from community members who gathered in large numbers to receive both the word of God and humanitarian support.

Apostle Kawinga began his mission with a powerful sermon drawn from Mark 5:1–8, emphasizing spiritual deliverance, restoration, and the transformative power of divine intervention. In his message, he stressed that through his observation and spiritual insight, what has destroyed many Malawians is not hunger, but sin. He reminded the congregation that “the wages of sin is death,” urging the people of Likoma to seek God first before anything else, for true life and protection begin with spiritual alignment.

He encouraged the community to prioritize repentance, righteousness, and a deep relationship with God, noting that when one stands right with the Lord, all other needs fall into place.

Following the sermon, Apostle Kawinga is set to distribute maize to 2,000 families, a timely intervention meant to ease the food challenges in many households across Likoma. This humanitarian gesture reflects the ministry’s commitment to holistic ministry—addressing both spiritual well-being and physical needs.

In his remarks, Apostle Kawinga commended the people of Likoma for electing Charles Chilambula, the youthful and visionary Member of Parliament for the area, representing the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). He acknowledged that MP Chilambula has been instrumental in facilitating the food assistance, noting that the MP continually engages him to bring such goodwill to the people of Likoma.

Apostle Kawinga described MP Chilambula as a wise, development-oriented, and community-focused leader who genuinely cares for the welfare of his constituents.

As the mission unfolds, the people of Likoma are expected to benefit both spiritually and materially—an impact made possible through strong collaboration between the ministry and local leadership.
