Vice President Dr. Jane Ansah, has urged non-governmental organisations to continue supporting the government in its efforts to achieve national goals.
Dr Ansah made the remarks on Wednesday in Lilongwe when she hosted officials from Development Aid from People to People (DAPP).
DAPP Country Director, Moses Chibwana said the organisation is ready to continue collaborating with the government to improve the lives of Malawians in the sectors of agriculture, health, and education.

The Government, through the Office of the Vice President, has pledged to strengthen collaboration with Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) to improve service delivery across the country.
This was revealed on Wednesday when DAPP Country Director Moses Chibwana paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah SC JA (Rtd) at Capital Hill in Lilongwe.
DAPP briefed the Vice President on its programmes in education, health, vocational skills training and community development.
Special Assistant to the Vice President on Governance, Alex Machila, said such engagements complement government efforts, promote inclusivity and support national development. He added that DAPP has expressed interest in working with the Jane Ansah Foundation, which supports vulnerable groups.
Chibwana reaffirmed DAPP’s commitment to continue partnering with government to improve the lives of Malawians.
The Vice President was commended for her gesture, described as key to strengthening partnerships and advancing sustainable national development.
