Apostle Kawinga reaches out to hailstorm victims in Dowa

Dowa, June 17, 2026 — Apostle Clifford Kawinga has extended a helping hand to families affected by recent hailstorms and heavy rains in Dowa District through a humanitarian outreach programme under the Hope Field Initiative of Salvation For All Ministries International.

The outreach, conducted at Kashangula Ground in the area of Senior Chief Inkosi Mponela, benefited 155 households left vulnerable by the severe weather that struck parts of Dowa and Lilongwe on June 6.

Families received relief items including iron sheets and tarpaulins valued at MK11 million to help repair damaged homes and improve living conditions.

According to the ministry, the intervention was aimed at providing immediate assistance to households struggling to recover from the disaster.

The ministry said the programme reflects its commitment to demonstrating compassion through practical support while restoring hope and dignity to affected communities.

Salvation For All Ministries International has over the years undertaken similar humanitarian interventions across the country, assisting vulnerable communities during times of crisis and hardship.
