Good Samaritan Pastor Ruth Kawinga Assists Sex Workers In Lilongwe

As part of her birthday celebration, wife to Apostle Clifford Kawinga of Salvation for All Ministries International, Pastor Ruth Kawinga on Sunday engaged members of the Female Sex Workers Association in Malawi in Lilongwe.

At least 100 women were part of the engagement where Kawinga shared K10 million among them with each one of them getting K100,000.

According to Pastor Kawinga, her aim was not to judge anyone but to speak with love, compassion, and hope.

“Life is not always easy as situations, poverty, disappointment, and pain can always lead people into places they never imagined they would be but I want you to know that your situation does not define who you are,” Kawinga indicated.

She assured the women that regardless of what they do, they are important, valued and their life has a purpose.

“I want to share with you a word of God from the Book of Jeremiah 29:11 which says “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Pastor Kawinga emphasized to the grouping that God still has a beautiful future for them and that they are not forgotten and abandoned.

“Your story is not finished if deep within your hear you desire change, healing, restoration, or a new direction in life, today can be your turning point,” she said.

Pastor Kawinga that appealed to the women to use the shared money accordingly.

Meanwhile, Director of the Sex Workers Association in Malawi, Zinenani Majawa commended Kawinga for the gesture saying the word of God has deeply given them a new beginning.
