Vice President Dr. Jane Ansah has joined Malawians in celebrating President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika’s 86th birthday, wishing him good health, wisdom and God’s continued blessings.
In a message shared on her official Facebook page on Saturday, Dr. Ansah thanked God for the President’s life and prayed for strength and guidance as he continues to serve the nation.
“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika. On this special day, I join your family, friends, and countless Malawians in thanking God for your life and wishing you abundant good health, wisdom, and many more blessed years.
“May the year ahead bring you continued strength, peace, and fulfillment as you remain committed to serving our beloved nation. Happy Birthday, Your Excellency, and may God richly bless you,” she wrote.
President Mutharika, who was born on July 18, 1940, returned to office after winning the 2025 presidential election on the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) ticket under the campaign slogan, “The Return to Proven Leadership.”
The birthday celebrations have attracted messages of goodwill from across Malawi and beyond, with citizens, foreign governments and diplomatic missions wishing the President continued good health, wisdom and success as he leads the country.
