On July 18th, Dr Jane Ansah Foundation through it’s founder Vice President Dr Jane Ansah distributed blankets,cloths and food items to people who are born with short stature (obadwa afupi afupi),people with albinism, the elderly and people with different disabilities.
In her statement the founder, Vice President Ansah explained that she thought of sharing blankets in this cold season because she knows how important they are and that they bring great warmth and comfort.
She added that the Foundation compliments Malawi Government and the vision of President Professor Authu Peter Mutharika by making sure that everyone is treated equally and given the opportunity to develop regardless of any condition.
In his remarks the Deputy Mayor of Zomba Anthony Gonani said that all people are equal whether with disabillity or short stature.
Senior Chief Chikanda thanked Dr Jane Ansah for her visit and encouraged her to continue helping the Akafula and the poorest of the poor.
