Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the Eastern Region, who is also Minister of Education, Honourable Bright Msaka SC, has joined government officials, party members and diplomatic missions in wishing President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika a happy 86th birthday.
In his message, Msaka, on behalf of the DPP family in the Eastern Region, described President Mutharika as a leader whose wisdom, dedication and commitment to Malawi continue to inspire many.
“Your wisdom, dedicated leadership, and unwavering commitment to serving Malawi continue to inspire many. May God bless you with good health, strength, peace, and many more years of life as you continue to be a source of hope and guidance,” Msaka said.
The Minister of Education also wished President Mutharika continued blessings as he leads the country, saying the DPP family in the Eastern Region celebrates the milestone with him.
Msaka becomes one of several senior government officials, political figures and members of the diplomatic community to send birthday wishes to President Mutharika, who turned 86 on Saturday.
President Mutharika, born on July 18, 1940, returned to the presidency after winning the 2025 presidential election on the DPP ticket under the campaign slogan, “The Return to Proven Leadership.”
