The Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr. Jane Ansah, has said that Malawi will be healed when its people seek the face of the Lord.
Dr. Ansah made the remarks while attending the Ministers’ Conference held on 11th July 2026 at Raised for a Purpose Ministries in Blantyre.
Ansah herself a Pastor, opened her address with 2 Chronicles 7:14, stressing that it is the duty of Malawians to turn from sin so that God can heal the nation from floods, El Niño and other challenges.
She also warned that holding on to fake news and sin will block Malawi’s healing, and urged citizens to abandon wicked deeds or face accountability before God.
Under the Malawi 2063 vision, the Vice President called for a mindset change centered on integrity, excellence and hard work, saying citizens must build the country and bring change instead of shame.
Dr. Ansah commended Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for promoting good governance and moral values, noting his leadership worked hand in hand with the church as a God-fearing nation.
