Founder and Leader of Christ Citadel International Church, Bishop Joseph Addo Ansah, has called on Christians to remain steadfast in prayer for the world, emphasizing that sustained intercession attracts God’s blessings and contributes to the well-being of societies.
Bishop Ansah said the Church has a critical role to play in promoting peace, unity, and moral values that are essential for individual, community, and national development.
He made the remarks during a special prayer service held at the Vice President’s residence in Area 12. The event also served as an occasion to warmly welcome Bishop Ansah back following a period of medical treatment abroad.
Speaking during the gathering, Christ Citadel International Church Malawi Overseer, Reverend Rodgers Kamanga, said believers continue to witness God’s grace and faithfulness in their lives, making it important to consistently express gratitude for His mercies.
Kamanga reminded congregants that God remains sovereign over all creation and continues to guide the affairs of humanity.
“The Church must remain committed to praying for its leaders because their success and ability to serve effectively depend on God’s guidance and blessings. We are grateful to welcome back our International Overseer, who has returned after receiving medical attention abroad. As Christians, we must also continue extending support to the vulnerable, including those affected by conflicts and humanitarian crises across the world,” he said.
He further encouraged believers to maintain a strong prayer life in all circumstances, stressing that faith and trust in God should remain unwavering regardless of the challenges people encounter in life.
The prayer service brought together church members and invited guests who joined in seeking God’s intervention for peace, leadership, and global prosperity.
